The ninth meeting of the Open-ended Working Group is open to observers in accordance with the Rules of Procedure of the Conference of the Parties of the Basel Convention.
Observers from Parties to the Basel Convention; States and any political and/or economic integration organization not Party to the Basel Convention; the United Nations and its specialized agencies; the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Bodies or agencies, whether national or international, governmental or non-governmental, qualified in fields relating to transboundary movement of hazardous wastes as well as their management and disposal:
- Bodies or agencies that have already been admitted to attend, as observers, past meetings of the Conferences of the Parties to the Basel Convention: Please send a filled in registration form to Ms. Stéphanie Cadet, stephanie.cadet@brsmeas.org.
