The Partnership continues to implement pilot projects to promote innovative solutions for the ESM of end-of-life computing equipment and mobile phones. The Partnership is promoting sound alternatives to open-pit burning of e-waste and harmful recycling operations, at the local, national and regional levels. The pilot projects also aim to test the ESM Guidelines produced by both MPPI, PACE as well as technical guidelines on e-waste under the Basel Convention.
