The Secretariat is cooperating with the two international organizations, WHO and UNDP, leading the global GEF co-funded project on demonstrating and promoting best techniques and practices for reducing health-care waste to avoid environmental releases of dioxins and mercury. Cooperation at the regional level between the project and the BCRCs in the respective regions is ongoing.
