Recommendations to improve the strategic framework for the period 2012-2021

At its tenth meeting, the Conference of the Parties tasked the Small Intersessional Working Group established under the strategic framework for the implementation of the Basel Convention for 2012-2021 to:

• Develop findings and recommendations to improve, as appropriate, the strategic framework for the period 2012–2021;
• Present a draft of its findings and recommendations for consideration by the Open ended Working Group at its thirteenth meeting;
• Present recommendations to the Conference of the Parties at its sixteenth meeting , taking into account the outcome of the thirteenth meeting of the Open-ended Working Group.
