The working group of the Follow up Partnership to PACE, in particular, its project group N. 1 on dissemination activities, developed model training workshops for different authorities and stakeholders, as included in the programme of work of the Partnership for 2020-2021. The objective of the model workshops is to provide training packages for Basel and Stockholm regional centres, national authorities and other stakeholders on environmentally sound management of e-waste according to the Basel Convention, with focus on environmentally sound management of mobile phones and computing equipment. The objective of the model workshops is also to disseminate guidance documents developed under the Partnership for Action on Computing Equipment (PACE) and the Mobile Phone Partnership Initiative (MPPI) and other manuals and technical guidelines developed by technical and expert groups under the Basel Convention, regarding e-waste.
