PACE Photo Competition Finalists Honoured at Triple COPs

At a special event staged during the Triple COPs, the results of the PACE Photo Competition on E-waste were revealed. Four finalists were honoured, namely Peter Coghill, Marius Jasinevicius, Federico Magalini and eventual winner, Kai Loeffelbein from Germany.

“These wonderful photographs show the breadth of angles with which the E-waste issue is concerned” said the BRS Secretariat’s Matthias Kern. “We also see a very strong human element in the photographs, underlining our message that we need urgent action to protect human health, as well as the environment, from possible harmful impacts from hazardous wastes found in E-waste”.
