A wealth of resources has been developed under the Basel Convention to assist Parties and stakeholders in its implementation. The development, publication and maintenance of these resources fall under several key programme of work associated with technical assistance and capacity building.
A substantial portfolio of resources has been developed to support Parties in meeting their obligations with respect to the Plastic Waste Amendments (PWA). This includes:
Guidance materials and toolkits
These resources include guidance, guidelines, toolkits and educational materials which offer stakeholders practical support in the design and implementation of strategies, policies or initiatives for the implementation of the PWA and the environmentally sound management of plastic waste. For example:

- Teachers' Manual and the Students' Workbook on plastic waste
Awareness raising and outreach materials
This section compiles resources developed that focus on sharing information and research about plastic waste management, especially in the context of technical assistance projects that have been delivered by the BRS Secretariat. For example:

- Factsheets on each Small Grant Programme project
- Research on best practices in the prevention and reduction of single use plastic waste
