Comments on the draft evaluation of the strategic framework

During the online segment of its twelfth meeting (1-3 September 2020), the Open-ended Working Group considered the draft evaluation of the strategic framework for the implementation of the Basel Convention for 2012–2021 as set out in document UNEP/CHW/OEWG.12/INF/4.

Following its consideration of the item, the Open-ended Working Group agreed to invite Parties and observers to submit comments to the Secretariat on the draft evaluation report by 30 September 2020 and to invite the small intersessional working group on the strategic framework to take the comments received into account in revising its draft report for submission to the Conference of the Parties at its fifteenth meeting. The below table sets out the comments received in response to this invitation from the Open-ended Working Group:
