Highlights: The objective of the meeting is to advance the work on the development and updating of the technical guidelines on waste batteries, as per COP17 decision BC-17/5. The meeting participants include representatives who are members and observers of the SIWG. The outcome of the meeting will be submitted for consideration by the fifteenth meeting of the Open-ended Working Group (Week of 22 June 2026, Geneva).
