Highlights: The objective of the meeting is to advance the work on the development and updating of the technical guidelines on waste batteries, as per COP17 decision BC-17/5. The meeting participants include representatives who are members and observers of the SIWG. The outcome of the meeting will be submitted for consideration by the eighteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties (19 - 30 April 2027, Panama City, Panama).
