At its sixteenth meeting, by decision BC16/13, the COP invited Parties and others to make available to the Secretariat, by 31 December 2023, information related to activities aimed at addressing issues related to waste containing nanomaterials, including case studies about and best practices relating to the management of waste containing nanomaterials. The Secretariat has further extended the submission deadline to 15 February 2024.
