Ban Amendment
The Ban Amendment entered into force on 5 December 2019. A list of ratifications/acceptances/approvals of the amendment to the Basel Convention (Ban Amendment) is available here. E-waste amendments
A list of Parties that are bound by the amendments to Annexes II, VIII and IX adopted by the fifteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties in 2022 will be made available on the date of entry into force (1 January 2025). The depositary notification communicating the adoption of the amendments is available here. On the expiry of six months from the date of the circulation of the communication by the Depositary (communicated on 1 July 2024), the amendments to the Annexes shall become effective for all Parties that have not submitted a notification in accordance with the provision of subparagraph (b) above.
