This webinar will provide an overview of the activities of the project group on transboundary movements of plastic waste established under the Basel Convention Plastic Waste Partnership (PWP). It will also highlight the information collected by the project group related to national and international specifications for shipments of plastic waste destined for recycling, as referred to in decision BC-14/12 (“Plastic Waste Amendments”). Presentations by stakeholders from government and industry will provide an opportunity to discuss issues surrounding such specifications.
