Highlights: The objective of the meeting is to advance the work on the electronic approaches to the notification and movement documents of the Basel Convention, as per decisions BC-15/14 and BC-16/10. The meeting participants include representatives of the SIWG. The outcome of the meeting will be submitted for consideration by the fourteenth meeting of the Open-Ended Working Group to the Basel Convention, in June 2024.
Format: The meeting of the small intersessional working group will be convened face-to-face. Other registered participants (Parties and observers) may receive, upon request to the Secretariat, an online viewer access to the meeting allowing them to follow the meeting without the right to intervene. Viewers would also not be included in the list of participants to the meeting.
