Eligible proponents
Proposals may be submitted by:
- Parties to the BRS Conventions;
- Basel and Stockholm Convention Regional and Coordinating Centres;
- not-for-profit entities that have observer status under the Basel Convention; and
- non-Party States that have observer status under the Basel Convention.
Selection process
A second call for proposals for pilot projects to be implemented under the PWP was launched in January 2022. The proposals received are being assessed by the steering group (formed by the co-chairs of the projects groups of the PWP working group and the officers of the officers of the PWP working group) using the template featured in the modalities. The selection process is ongoing, the steering group will rank and prioritize the selected pilot projects taking into account the financial resources available.
