Side events

During the fourteenth meeting of the Open-ended Working Group, side events will be held during lunch breaks and in the evenings on key issues covered under the Convention.

Side events serve as a platform for Parties and observers to share knowledge, build capacity, network and exchange experience in the implementation of the Basel Convention. They also contribute to fostering discussions on specific issues under consideration at the meeting.
